Dressage PEI Show This Weekend

The first show of the season will be this weekend in Crapaud at the Agriplex! It looks like it's a busy and full show with rides from training level to Grand Prix! This weekend will also be the official opening of the Crapaud facilities.

The show will be both Saturday and Sunday and the judge is Joanna Crilly from Ontario.

Whiscalina will be coming with me. It will be her second show season and I will ride her in first level (Klasse L for my Dutch guests). I will also show her in the FEI Four Year old division. Exactly a year ago Whiscalina made her first appearance in the show ring. The picture was taken at that time last year at Venture Stables in Freetown.

I'm looking forward to the weekend and to seeing everyone again! Hopefully we will have sunshiny weather because we could definately use it!

May Lessons

May has been a busy month for lessos. Sue was over twice this month! She was here for two days the first weekend of may and again this past weekend! Each time we were hoping to ride outside but unfortunately the weather was just not cooperating. So instead, we held the lessons at the Winsloe Equestrian Centre and Storybook Stables.

Both weekends were busy and Sue had full days of teaching! I rode both my horses Kionus and Whiscalina. It was nice to get so much help from Sue this month especially since the first show is less than 2 weeks away!

The first show of season will be June 2-3 in Crapaud, PEI. If things go as planned Whiscaline will be coming with me. She has been going very nicely! She can be quite a handful at times but her high energy level and wonderful personality make her such a pleasure to work with. I will ride her in the FEI four year old class and First Level both days. I'm looking forward to the show and seeing everyone again. Hopefully, I will be able to take some nice show pictures and share them with you!
