The Clinic

We had an excellent day Friday; Sue came over to teach us once again. I had the day off from work and so spent the entire day with the horses. My first ride was with Conner and he went absolutely brilliant, as Gary called it! We worked on the flying changes and with Sue's tips and hints they started to come along very nicely.
Then, it was Kionus' turn. Sue asked me what I had on my "wish list" for him: Canter Pirouttes. I had tried those at home but wasn't quite sure on how to do them. Sue explained and we tried lots. Now Kionus and I have homework to improve them for the next time she comes over.
My last ride was almost the most exiting one for me. I finally got the show Whiscalina under saddle to Sue! Whiscalina took in all the exitment of other horses and people being around but she went as nice as always. Sue commented that Whisca is coming along nicely for her age.
Overall, it was a successful day. Eleven horse and riders rode in the clinic this time. Today we have some other exitement planned for Whiscalina. Later more!
