Sunday Afternoon Hack

The weather was once again sunny! This spring is just unbelieveable; in the six years we've been here it has never been so early and nice. The horses are being ridden quite a bit lately since the show season is only a few weeks away. As a treat for the horses and myself we decided to go on a hack.

It was the first hack for Whiscalina, so we thought it would be better to have another horse around. Kionus came along, to be once again in the leadership role. Since I can't ride two horses at once I was in need for an extra rider. Well, my dad happily volunteered to take Kionus for a ride. Dad hadn't been on a horse for approximately two years, but him and Kionus got along just perfect! I guess they both enjoyed some nice trots and canters in the fields and on the dirt roads.
