Too Late

As I mentioned in the previous post, we had some exitement planned for Whisca on the Saturday afternoon. Well, let me tell you that turned out totally different than planned.

Personally, I'm usually a little late for most things. Always a littled rushed when trying to make it in time for work, dentist appointments, movies, etc. Last year at a show I was almost late for my dressage test. By the time I ended up in the warm up ring I had only 5 minutes to get ready for my ride. But never before was I too late...until Saturday afternoon.

By the time we arrived at Strathgartney for Whisca's very first training show the last class had just finished. Here we were, with a braided horse, clean tack, and dressed in show attire. What do you do then? We took her from the trailer and I was just going to ride around the grounds for a little bit. Then, Ambre offered to keep us company by going for a hack. Eventhough, our first show of the season didn't happen...our first ride of the year at Strath did happen.

We had a great laugh about it but still had a wonderful afternoon!
