Last Show of 2007
This past weekend we travelled to New Brunswick to compete at the last show of the 2007 season. Dressage New Brunswick put on another wonderful show at the Princess Louise Park in Sussex. As usual, we left Friday evening to get settled and ride. The facilities were decorated beautifully in a fall and Halloween theme. The show started early Saturday morning, but I did not show Whiscalina until later in the day. She went very nice. We received 70% in our first test and 72% in our second. We received two red ribbons for those tests.
The show continued on Sunday and Whiscalina was even more relaxed again and went even better again. In our first test we got a score of 73% and our second test was rewarded with 74%. The judge liked Whisca very much and made comment on our last test "Balance is her forte" I was very pleased with Whiscalina this weekend. Also, on Sunday we received two red ribbons.
At the end of the day, we won a beautiful leather halter for being the First Level High Point but also another nice blanket for the High Score of the Weekend. Enjoy the pictures that we took in the nice fall settings.
Once again, Ambre and I were the only two Island riders that travelled to the show. Ambre had some very good tests with her mare Wanja in the Training division. Their scores ranged from 64-66% and they got a nice white saddle pad for the Training Level Reserve High Score.
