Another Clinic with Cindy Ishoy

After a little break we were on the road again. This time to Canning Nova Scotia for a three day clinic with Cindy Ishoy.
We have been going to clinics with Cindy for several years and I always really enjoy them. Cindy's training style really works for us and I can always feel such improvement each day we ride with Cindy and also after we go home where we continue our training.

This weekend our focus was on improving the connection with the horse. All these basics set you up for the advanced work such as the half passes, changes, increased collection, etc. Although, everything is going well we working on improvement such as making it stronger and quicker. Cindy had some very helpful exercises that Whisca picked up very well.

On Saturday and Sunday we introduced Whisca to the passage/piaffe work. On Saturday Whisca was a bit clueless on what we're asking from her but her effort was super! On Sunday she picked up the work really well and showed us that she has some true talent for this work! Very exciting!

The clinic has given me so much new riding energy and showed me that there is still a long exciting road ahead of us. Can't wait to continue to explore it and hoping to ride in another clinic soon so that we can follow up on this work....
