Busy December

It's been a busy month so far and the holidays haven't even started yet! The first weekend of December we traveled to the Valley in Nova Scotia for another clinic with Canadian Olympian Cindy Ishoy. As usual, it was a super clinic and Whisca went very nice! Cindy provided us with lots of "homework" for the coming winter months until we meet again early spring.

I'm very lucky, because this homework can now be done is our own brand new indoor riding arena! Early December this project was completed and I was able to ride indoors. It's a nice size arena to continue the winter training so I'm very thankful for that!
In addition to Whiscalina, I also have two nice young Dutch horses in training. So obviously, if you know me well, I'm spending countless hours in the barn now and truly enjoying it! Pictures of the new arena to follow soon....

Then, we also had another clinic with Susan Fraser, Level III dressage coach, from Nova Scotia last weekend. I had a lesson in the new indoor on Sunday and Whisca went well! Whisca has some super nice changes in the lesson so I was very pleased with that.

So it's been a great December so far! Hopefully, with the new arena I will be able to ride lots during the winter and therefore have lots of updates for you!
