Harma Germs - Fraser: World Dressage Masters

It's been a while since I last posted. It's not because there is nothing going on in my life; in fact, quite the opposite.

With the beautiful new indoor arena I'm spending a lot of time riding the horses. Whiscalina is doing well this winter. I'm currently preparing her for some upcoming clinics this spring and of course the show season, which is scheduled to start the end of May. Cindy Ishoy is scheduled to return the end of March and the middle of May I'm privileged to ride in a clinic with top dressage rider Steffan Peters.
The young horses are doing well too! They're progressing very nicely. I really enjoy training these very nice young horses; especially the progress they can make and the variety they bring. I'm enjoying my time in the barn. Luckily we are having a great winter so far!

Although, we had one very bitterly cold week on the Island I was lucky to be able to escape this. During that week I was enjoying the sun in the Bahamas with Greg. On our way home we made a stop at the amazing horse show grounds in Wellington, Florida!
I got the watch the World Dressage Masters perform on their Olympic mounts. What a lucky girl I was!! Seeing Anky & Salinero, Isabel & Satchmo, and Steffan Peters & Ravel do a public training session all at once was so cool and interesting. Never in my life did I think I'd be able to see these horses and riders up close and personal! In addition, they brought their own coaches and watching them train their horses was very educative. My pictures don't do the experience justice but I figued I'd share a couple with you. I do however have very nice video of all riders.

Besides the WDM we watched the biggest hunter/jumper show I've ever seen in my life. There were so many rings going at once, it was quite the scene. From low hunter to 1.40m jumpers with show jumping Olympian Eric Lamaze! There was also an opportunity to spend lots of many in the countless tack stores that were all lined up! Very nice and a very entertaining day!
