Nova Scotia Trip

Last week we traveled to FEC in Canning again for another super clinic with Olympian Cindy Ishoy. I've been lucky to ride in Cindy's clinics since Whiscalina was four years old and have always enjoyed every single one of them! Cindy has been a great help in Whisca's progress!
This clinic we continued to work Whisca more on the canter pirouettes -an excercise that requires high degree of strenght and collection. It was good work and Whisca handled it well. It really improved the overall picture in the canter and quality of the canter. We also moved the mark again for the trot collection -work that will increase strenght and gates. I always enjoy how Cindy challenges us in each of her lessons, she provides us with a lot of information to work with at home until our next clinic. Whisca is going well and is progressing very nicely! I'm super pleased.
Our next clinic will hopefully be this fall and we plan to show Whiscalina at the DNB Championships in
NB early October.
Since we're in
She's looking good! Very friendly and curious little girl. She showed us some of the movements as well and I'm impressed. I like her a lot! Here are some pictures Martha Haley took of Farazana during our visit. Enjoy!
Unfortunately, no pictures of Whisca from the clinic. Due to heavy rains in
outdoors and our camera did not cope well indoors...too dark.
